Royal Natzke of the Jackson Historical Society will share stories collected for his book, “Pioneer Church Records Speak: Immanuel Lutheran Church Jackson, Wisconsin, 1847-1974.” Organized in 1847, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kirchayn was among the first ten Lutheran Churches to organize in Wisconsin. It also was part of the second group of congregations to join the then one-year-old Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in 1848. Its story is important to Wisconsin as well as church history. Copies of his book will be available for purchase. Program is free and all ages are welcome.
