Laurie Malchow
My name is Laurie Malchow and I have been a year around volunteer with Samaritan's Purse - Operation Christmas Child for 10 years. I have volunteered with both community and church relations focusing on Ozaukee, Washington, and Dodge counties. My mission is to increase awareness of this global ministry and to assist churches and communities in setting up their own shoebox projects.
I was instrumental in establishing the Hartford Shoebox Project 10 years ago with a goal of involving the community and multiple churches coming together for a single cause of getting the gospel message out in a shoebox.
