Parenting the Love and L ogic Way

Description

Peace Lutheran School will offer a six week parenting course. The course will meet once a week, on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm and will be repeated on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm. The sessions will last between 60 and 90 minutes.

The course is designed to provide parents the skills required to feel more relaxed, hopeful and positive about their children.

Parents will learn how to:

• Avoid un-winnable power struggles and arguments
• Stay calm when their kids do incredible, upsetting things
• Set enforceable limits
• Avoid enabling and begin empowering
• Help their kids learn from mistakes rather then repeating them
• Raise kids who are family members rather then dictators
